Stories shown on the screen can influence how people think, feel, interpret, and perceive the world around them.  Films and media have the ability to open the minds and perspectives of its audiences.  Canada is a vast and beautiful country with a diversity of stories that need to be showcased.  Now more than ever is the time to shine the spotlight on these talented and underrepresented Canadian voices and creators of colour.

RESO will serve to give a voice to the large group of racialized people in Canada with a unique diaspora migrant lens and provide a centre for our unique challenges and possibilities when telling our stories to the world.
